Robin Ackroyd

Robin Ackroyd is a writer with a particular interest in Mongolia, its borderlands, and Central Asia.
He travelled extensively, during an independent research expedition, on horseback in northern Mongolia, and lived for a year-and-a-half in Azerbaijan.
Robin qualified as a journalist in the UK and worked for local, regional and national newspapers before going freelance. He has worked as a news reporter, investigative journalist, and crime correspondent.
Robin is a member of the Society of Authors, and the National Union of Journalists.
